- The 'turn' defines the trump card, that is, the highest value card. This will be the card of value following the 'turn'.
- Then, each player shows a card. The player who presents the card with the highest value wins.

Main rules of Truco
- The Truco game is worth 12 points and consists of several 'hands'.
- Each 'hand' is worth 1 point and consists of 3 rounds.
- The player can raise the value of the 'hand' to 3 points, if they ask for 'Truco', are accepted by the other players, and win the 'hand'.
- There is also the possibility of increasing the value of the 'hand' to 6, 9, and 12 points. It is enough for the player to ask for 'Truco', be accepted by the opposing pair, and win the 'hand'. If the request is not accepted, the player who asked for 6, 9, or 12 wins respectively, 3, 6, and 9 points.
- When a pair reaches 11 points, the players of the pair have the right to 'spy' on each other's cards and can decide whether they will continue the 'hand' or not. This is called the 'eleven hand'. If the pair accepts, the 'hand' will be worth 3 points. If they refuse, 1 point is given to the opposing pair.
- When both pairs reach 11 points, the 'hand' is called the 'iron hand'. In this case, the winner wins the game.
