You can start with all your pieces as soon as the game starts. You can reveal each piece by rolling a six on the dice and this is essential for maximizing your takes and maintaining resilience against opponents capturing your pieces.

In order to be successful in Ludo, you have to be strategic when you are looking to move all your pieces while maintaining an optimal gap between them. You need to also spread out so that you are well covered and always keep a close watch on what the opponent is up to.

One of the most critical Ludo strategy is trying to eliminate opponents' pieces whenever possible. Never pass up an opportunity to cut an opponent's piece in your path. Look at opportunities to capture their pieces, disrupting their game plan and forcing them to await a six on the dice to get back in the game.

Look at safe spaces on tbhe board where opponents will not be able to cut your pieces. You can strategically look at these places and then try to get your pieces in these secure locations. At the same time, you can also prepare an alternative piece in a favorable position in case one gets captured.

You can stay ahead and control the flow of the game if you can strategically block your opponent's path. You can also make use of the well spread-out pieces to obstruct opponents' progress, creating uncertainty and cutting their pieces when they attempt to advance.

When you have almost completed the round and are close to home, do not take undue risks. Always place your pieces in safe positions until you roll sufficient numbers to enter the home pavilion, where opponents cannot capture your pieces.
